RSR 03 - Rocket Park Up Against Goodbye
Recorded in 2002, intermittently mixed over the following three (!) years and nearly forgotten, Rocket Park's self-produced swan song might just be their masterpiece. Featuring the core trio of Brian Andrew Marek, Eric Moore and Dave Harris augmented by the guest guitars of Brian Henneman (The Bottle Rockets) and longtime member Steve Minnis, this album has it all - from the power pop of "Cling Too Closely" to the country rock of "Fade to Grey", from the epic excess of "Stray Cat" to the heartbreaking acoustic simplicity of "Gone Away". Unreleased for five years and heard by a lucky few, the belated release of Up Against Goodbye is the final word on the Rocket Park legacy.
